I spoke too soon (AR related)

Way back when dinosaurs roamed the earth (aka when I last posted) it was all looking good for Arrested Development. Two networks were bidding for rights to take the show and it looked like Showtime had all but struck a deal. Well, it wasn't meant to be. 

Just last week two things happened that have pretty much killed any hope of the show coming back anywhere. Will Arnett, who plays Job, took a movie role that would require filming during the regular filming schedule. Not huge, but certainly not promising. Then, one of the executive producers (the folks with the money) left to pursue another project. Not good at ALL. No money, no show.

So it appears Arrested is finally dead. I'm disappointed, but it went out on a high note. I'd hate to see somebody pick it up and just ruin it, so I suppose we can all just be happy with how the story concluded.

Great news for Tivo!

Finally, FINALLY they have won the patent infringement suit against EchoStar!Perhaps now they'll get to take credit (and make some $$) on the revolution they began.
